Colorimetric evaluation can be carried out using most spectrophotometers or photometers on the market, including the models sold by our company such as those in the UviLine line, designed specifically for HYDROCHECK testing.
Analyses are simplified to ensure efficiency and manageability even in non-laboratory settings: the addition of reagents to the sample is carried out directly in the test tubes provided in the kit, using specific dropper bottles.
Another important aspect of the SPECTRATEST kit is that it does not require any laboratory glassware: the 16mm optical glass tubes included in the kit itself or the 10mm cuvettes are enough to carry out the measurement. With HYDROCHECK kits, analyses can be performed on minimal sample quantities, not only in the laboratory but in any place equipped with a power outlet, ensuring efficiency also in outdoor areas.

Processes and advantages
All samples to be analyzed by HYDROCHECK kits must be homogenized using the criteria of good laboratory practice: substances in suspension or interfering with analyses must be properly treated and removed, for example, by filtration.
Transferring the sample into the convenient reaction tube included with each SPECTRATEST kit is done by using the 5-mL syringe in the kit.
The reagent dosage is calibrated for 5-mL samples, but it is possible to proportionally increase the quantity of reagents to be used for larger volume samples. It should also be noted that the sample should be tested in a temperature range of 20°C to 30°C.
