- This method detects phosphorus present in the form of orthophosphate. Organic phosphonates can be measured using the HCK TITRATEST PHOSPHONATE, while total phosphorus using the HCK MONOTEST TOTAL PHOSPHORUS kits.
- The optical comparator contained in the package enables the colour comparison between two test tubes containing the same amount of water, which improves accuracy.
- The HYDROCHECK kits (which can be purchased directly) enable many precise analyses to be carried out at a very low cost per analysis. If precision is not particularly important and the analyses to be carried out are few in number, it may be worthwhile using DROPS kits, which cost considerably less per package (to be purchased through dealers).
