Twenty of them contain the reagent required for the analysis, based on potassium dichromate and sulfuric acid, the twenty-first the blank for zeroing the instrument.<\/p>\n<p>To perform the analysis, <strong>a precise amount of sample is simply added to a tube containing the reagents<\/strong>. Moreover, digestion is carried out in a thermoreactor (development of coloration) and, after cooling to room temperature, the absorbance of the sample is measured with a <strong>photometer<\/strong> or <strong>spectrophotometer<\/strong>, thus determining the concentration of COD in mg\/L.<\/p>\n<p>Whichever method is used, it is necessary that the sample to be analyzed be perfectly homogeneous.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
