Colortest

COLORTEST kits colorimetrically measure the concentration of the most important substances (natural and/or polluting) contained in water. The color evaluation is carried out visually by a special comparator and a specific chromatic scale, contained in each kit.

The operations to be performed for the analysis are simple: the addition of reagents to the samples is carried out in the test tubes, directly from the appropriate bottles.

The same tubes are then inserted into a comparator and placed on the colorimetric scale, where the concentration is expressed in mg / l (ppm). There is no need for laboratory glassware neither for washing pipettes, flasks, etc.

With the HYDROCHECK COLORTEST kits the analyzes are carried out on 5 ml of sample. The kits are easy to use and also suitable for non-specialized operators, usable not only in laboratory but also outdoors.

For analyzes requiring a high degree of accuracy, it is advisable to perform them by photometers or spectrophotometers using the SPECTRATEST or MONOTEST kits, which give more precise results.

ADVANTAGES

The advantages of the HYDROCHECK COLORTEST kits towards the classic laboratory methods are considerable:

  1. – do not require the use of a photometer;
  2. -always ready for use, they make the preparation of reagents superfluous, saving time;
  3. – savings in the purchase of raw materials;
  4. – stabilized reagents with variable duration from 1 to 4 years;
  5. – possibility to immediately analyze waters for which a calibration curve is not available, by means of the chromatic scale present in each kit;
  6. – availability of refill at an even cheaper price than the test kits.
  7. – minimum amounts of sample and reagents to be used;
  8. – minimum amounts of washing water;
  9. – possibility to carry out analyzes even in places other than the laboratory.
