Spectrophotometry is a very important tool for water analysis. It measures the colour of a sample of water due to reaction with specific reagents. In certain conditions the colour is proportionate to the concentration of the analyzed substance. The analysis is simple, quick, safe and inexpensive, which explains the great diffusion of spectrophotometry. The HC 7700 spectrophotometer has been replaced by the newer HC 7800, supplied preprogrammed with all Hydrocheck kit curves (Monotest and Spectratest). We also offer the innovative UVILINE spectrophotometers, these too preprogrammed for all Hydrocheck test. All these instruments are designed to permit easy and fast analysis, while ensuring the necessary precision. The prices of the UVILINE instruments are at various degrees higher then that of HC 7800, but they offer an even greater simplicity and a wider range of possible applications. Beside these it is possible to use the Spectronic Genesys, in particular the 10 Vis, which can be bought directly from the Italian representative and then easily programmed for the HYDROCHEK kits following the instructions included in each kit.
