WATER ANALYSIS WITH “DROPS” TECHNOLOGY
WATER ANALYSIS WITH IPT DROPS KITS
The IPT DROPS are convenient pocket kits: inside the practical plastic package there is everything needed (reagents, test tubes, instructions, etc.) to carry out analyzes in any place.
With IPT DROPS kits two types of analysis can be performed: titrations and colorimetric reactions.
TITRATION WITH IPT DROPS
Titration with IPT DROPS is simple, fast, sufficiently precise and economical. It’s enough to put 5 ml of sample in the tube, add an indicator and then the drops of titrant until the solution color changes. The consumed drops of titrant correspond to the value of the analyte.
VISUAL COLORIMETRIC ANALYSIS WITH IPT DROPS
In presence of suitable reagents, any existing analyte generates a color whose intensity is proportional to its concentration, determined by simple comparison of the sample with a color scale, supplied in each kit.
BLISTER (low-cost kit)
For some types of analysis such as hardness, a convenient and cheaper blister pack containing reagent is available. This solution is suitable for those who need to make determinations such as the hardness at the outlet of a domestic water softener.
